Making Waves
Curio Projects has been sending big support to Making Waves through various ways including donating money and skills and joining the Making Waves Regatta.

Making Waves
Making Waves Foundation is an Australian registered not-for-profit organisation that, through sailing, becomes a catalyst for change in people's lives, offering life changing opportunities to children, youth and adults with disabilities and those at a disadvantage to drive a more optimistic outlook for personal growth and improved life outcomes.

Making Waves Regatta 2022
Curio Projects has been supporting Making Waves since 2019 not only through donating money but also donating our designers’ time and skills to help them rebrand and design some of the event collateral that would be used for the Making Waves Regatta, the annual fundraising event.
Our team has joined the annual fundraising event every year to further support the organisation by sailing on the beautiful Sydney Harbour with the kids, volunteers and the crew together and purchasing tickets in the raffle at the after-party, which has brought us opportunities to have team bonding time through the race.

When we went out to sea on Friday, 29 April, the weather was absolutely beautiful and perfect for sailing. We weren’t able to race unfortunately because there was no wind, but we definitely had great time appreciating the nature, food and wine and most importantly each other’s company. Even though the race was cancelled, Curio Projects still won the one of the honourable trophies that were for the winner of each race division - The best looking team.
