Senior Interpretation Specialist
Gemma is highly experienced heritage specialist, having spent over 10 years in the public sector, including several years working in interpretation and education at the world heritage listed sites managed by the Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority.
With a Graduate Dip. Education (Secondary), Master of Cultural Heritage and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Australian History, her versatile skill set has led to extensive work in exhibition design and development, historical research, interpretation and visitor experience planning, stakeholder consultation, and curriculum-based heritage education.
Since joining Curio, Gemma has been instrumental in in the development of exhibition and interpretation experiences at South Eveleigh, the Cascades Female Factory and Brickendon Estate, along with interpretation planning for Barangaroo and Christian Dior.
Gemma is passionate about conserving our shared cultural heritage through the delivery of engaging and memorable interpretive experiences.
