Jody has over 20 years’ experience in both theoretical and practical heritage management, making her uniquely placed to provide clear, achievable heritage and interpretation solutions for places of any level of significance. Having worked on local, state, national and world heritage listed properties (incl. Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority portfolio, Maria Island, the Tasmanian Wilderness and Mawson’s Huts, Antarctica), she has worked in archaeology and built heritage management, exhibition design and development, interpretation, visitor experience planning, stakeholder consultation, guide training and heritage management planning. Jody has served on / advised local, state and national committees incl. the Australian Convicts Sites Steering Committee, the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area Committee, and the Tasmanian Archaeological Advisory Panel, Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology, Interpretation Australia and has just joined the Australia ICOMOS Executive Committee.
